Backing out of live tv goes to the beginning of the guide

Essentially, what the title says. If you are watching live TV and you go back to the guide, many times it will go to the very beginning (channel 2) instead of where you were. This is somewhat annoying, especially if you were at the end of the guide watching something.

So if you're watching live tv and you back out of what you're watching to see the guide. But I think I've narrowed down the issue a bit. If it takes you back to the top of the guide, instead of scrolling down but right it jumps back to the channel you were on. Would you like me to attach a video example?

So I lied (sort of). Pressing right in the guide this time didn't take me back to the channel I was watching. I was on channel 26.5 and it took me back to the top of the guide, it looks like channel 9.1 and an hour ahead is what's highlighted. I then scrolled back down a bit for you.
