Questions related to the latest media

My apologies if there is a simple solution or an existing setting.. So I have quite a number of TV series collection. My expectation is when a new episode is downloaded, i need that to be prominently visible in my home screen. last night 2 episodes of a series got imported. but that series is listed as the 6th in my list.. why is that? is there anyway to show the recently imported content in my home screen?

Your TV Shows type libraries Latest rows are sorted by Last episode date added. Why they're sixth in the row can be caused by two things:

1)  You've added some episodes (of other TV Shows) after those two

2) Your "Date added behavior for new content" in Setyings>Library tab in the sidebar>Advanced tab up top is set to "File creation date" and those files were simply older

thanks for the quick reply. I can confirm that i did not add any new episodes. so i checked the library tab advanced settings and like you said it was set to File creation date. I now changed that to "use date scanned into the library" option. But I dont see any changes. I assume already imported episodes will not be affected by this change and only new downloads will be listed correctly?
