Hey there! I’m having a little trouble with the new Emby version 2.2.42. It seems like the next and previous buttons at the bottom left corner are missing when I’m playing in full screen mode.

I’m really hoping you can fix this as soon as you get a chance!

Hi, can you please show a screenshot example? Thanks.

As I recall, “up next” will display multiple upcoming episodes. However, I would prefer to see only the next episode. Please consider restoring the button.

Have you checked out the new episode spoiler feature?

The new episode spoiler feature is very useful, but I think it would be even better if users had the option to disable it and switch back to the native version, and vice versa. Thank you as well for this amazing add-on!

@LukeSorry just to clarify does that mean the next and previous buttons are gone? Toggling the spoiler option didn't change anything for me and it’s a bit jarring having them removed.

Hi, @Luke
Please check out this post, which has screenshots. There are no previous and next song buttons when playing music. This seems to be a bug introduced with the iOS 26 update. I was able to see the buttons before the update.

Can't find a way to play the next song in the emby iOS app

I’m quite certain that the missing button has been present since I updated to Emby version 2.2.42and still missing in2.2.43, not iPadOS 26.

@LukeThank you! And is this update related to the seasons and episode showing as commas instead of the usual S00E00? My screen now has S00, E00. Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this?

Will it be fixed in the next update, right? Do you know when it will be released?

Hi, hopefully soon.

Could this also be realized to the skip intro button not showing on iPad? I can see and use the skip intro button just fine on the web, or my iPhone just not on the iPad. On Emby app ver 2.2.43 and iPad os 26.0.1

Version 2.2.44 has bring back the next button but with a new position. It’s okay now, but it would be better if both the next and previous buttons were in the same position. thank

I get it. we are just running out of space on small screens, making these kinds of difficult decisions necessary.

I recommend placing the new position at the bottom right corner of the same line as the information and chapter.
