Emby work some days and than I can't connect to server

I can't understand how emby connect work. I am on a pc different from pc where is installed emby server and I'm trying to connect to emby. so I go to the emby website and I login with my user name and password account. As soon I'm logged emby ask to add a new server but of course because IP is changed I don't know a new IP......and I can't see any Emby connect option to use. Where do I'm wrong? (please find attached a sequence of screen that I done in the emby website)

Hi, did you try entering your server address manually? You can get your server address on the server machine by going to the front page of your emby server dashboard.

what version of Emby for Android are you using ?

There should be an icon for "Sign in with Emby Connect" between the "Add Server" and "Downloads" icons. This is screenshot from my Android app after selecting "Change Server"

@Taglia74 This screenshot indicates that the Emby Connect account you signed into is not currently linked to the Emby Server

Access your server on the local network and then go to server settings and in the left side bar click on Users

and then click on the user that you use to open the user settings 

And remove any emby connect email address in the field on this screenshot and click on Save

and acknowlege the removal pop up and now enter the email address that you have setup on emby and would use for emby connect and save

You will get emails confirming the removal and re-linking

After this open the Emby for Android app - a fresh launch - so terminate any existing emby app process running and relaunch

and look for the Sign in with Emby Connect on the Emby for Android app

Similarly for a test on a PC you can go to 

http://app.emby.media

or 

https://emby.media/connect.html

and select "Sign In" from the 3 bars button

Hi and thanks for your help. I've check and the mail field was empty. Now I've filled it with my account mail. The server was updated to last version jet. Lets see how it work next time. Thanks a lot. Andrea

Strange things.....I've iserted the mail where you say me to do.....but this is the result after I cancel old server (that can't connect) and i try to connect to server again....I'm logged with right mail and password to my emby account but it is not available a "automatic" mode to connect to my server.....only a IP is required......so nothing change....image.png.40483ab65be8dd6d9095669edf95d198.png

Do you get the Sign In with Emby Connect button ? This is on the Select Server screen

Do you see a screen like this

you could put this in the browser, and see what you get back

http://app.emby.media/#!/startup/selectserver.html

I am going get you some screenshots using incognito private session to avoid using any cached browser data and show what a fresh sign in should show

You can try to clear the browser cache for emby or test with private incognito window

So first on going to http://app.emby.media/ you should see this screen

Next is to do with enabling TV display mode option - you can skip and click Next

Then you get the sign in with emby connect screen

Yes I see the same screen but as soon I log in the proposed screen is next one. I can't see signt in with emby connect.

My question is......if I log in with my user name or mail and password....why I need to add server....it shoud be available because it is my server and I set it to my server in any device......so why a new device must log again to server..image.png.7df967dd503e514d861ddc12302898a4.png

 

To me it is not available emby connect button and I don't know why

Did you try clicking add server?

when you linked the email account to the server local user, did you receive an email to say it has been linked ?

Do you have the embyserver log file for the time of linking the accounts?

I've received confermation email after these last post. I've linked. Lets check what happen now. I will update you as soon I can. Thanks for your support
