Question About News Episode Numbers

Why doesn’t Emby’s guide not include the episode numbers for news? I use another service that has all the episode numbers, but on Emby, that data is missing. Is it because Emby decided not to scrape that data? I assume the guide is coming from the same source.

News airings tend to be date and time based rather than having episode numbers, so I can understand why this may be happening.

Please let me have country / zip code / lineup ID (from Live TV Setup page) and channel name/number and program series and I will look into the specific case that you have where episode numbers are in use. (Assuming you are using an OTA Lineup, I will look into the Local Broadcast Listings lineup for your location and check it out)

@Deihmos I see CNN HD on channel 600 - could you tell me the lineup ID please and the zip code
