Duplicate Easy way to move library location through the backend without losing all metadata

To reference another thread i want to make a feature request for this much needed feature:

It would be really nice to have this option in place in the backend for those people that cannot save metadata to mediafolder or who prefer to have the media-files read-only. 
After building nice libraries in emby for years with custom descriptions and posters and so on, losing it all because the paths in a database don't match up is really sad.
