Whitelist for Artists with Non-Standardized Names

So this is a problem I've been having with Emby for some time, and if it's happened to me it can probably happen to others. With at least these two artists, it seems to break the album artist listing and display it as many times as there are tracks in the album

𝐺𝑂𝑅𝐸 seems to use the Mathematical Italic font

While π•»π–”π–‘π–šπ–“π–‰π–—π–† uses theΒ Mathematical Bold Fraktur font

After speaking with Luke in the Whitelist Request for Artists with Slash in Name forum, that whitelist won't do these artists any good, but since the font and unicode can be identified, there must be a way to either whitelist artists like these, or if at all possible, create a whitelist myself for specifically my server.

Hi, can you zip up a copy of the album and send it to me? Thanks.

I tested these and it was only one artist added for each. I suspect that if you were to move them out of your library and then back in, that might help, although I'm not positive. Or maybe just refresh metadata on the album.

I actually tried that and it did not work. IDK if it's cause I'm not using the beta version or not, since this was not an issue in the beta, but now I cannot fix it for the life of me.

Yea I'm guessing this would be an issue on 4.8.

Hopefully with the next update it'll be fixed, then 🀞
