Does Android track Emby's queue better than Emby does?

An ongoing frustration with playing tracks in an Emby Music library is the lack of persistence of the play queue. If Emby closes for any reason (crash, timeout, manual quitting, etc.), the play queue disappears. But it seems that when an Android device is configured to show media play state on a device's home screen notifications (pull down from the top), Emby's play state and queue are preserved. Could Emby use this Android system functionality directly, or otherwise duplicate it within the Emby client app?

Hi, this is on our to do list for the near future, to start saving the play queue.

That said, yes the installed apps will do better this than the browser given that you won't have to worry about accidentally closing a browser tab.
