all4dom 101 Posted September 10, 2025 Posted September 10, 2025 Im watching a movie that is HDR 10. HEVC & it says direct play but under it, it's says renderer mediacodec. Im currious what that means because Google says its emby transcoding the video but stats for needs doesnt say that. My server is new & the processor is Intel Core Ultra 5 235 (Series 2) Arrow Lake so every codec should be direct play & i get this on my fire tv which i thought plays eveyyhing like the shield.
