Trying to connect to server on a FireStick.  It's been working fine up until today.

I am 100% confident the password I am using is correct and being inputted correctly.  Happens no matter what user I pick.  Enabled debug logging and rebooted server, immediately tried to connect with same failure.  Clicked the "Send Logs" button at 9/9/25 7:35pm CST.  Local log files attached.

The server works fine on other devices, it's just this one FireStick that isn't working.   I have 2 different servers set up, I am able to log into one server just fine with any user, but when I switch to the 2nd server and pick a user, I get the error.

Hi, there are no login attempts here. Are you sure this is the right log?

yes.  the time stamps line up as well, 2025-09-09 19:36:45 is almost a minute after the login attempt.  I didn't see the login either, part of why I am confused.  it's definitely connecting because i get the user list.  only get the error after selecting a user and inputting pass.  this is a fresh install of emby on a new firestick

Hi.  Can you try searching for our standard android app (Just "Emby" on Amazon and "Emby for Android on Google) on the same device's app store and see how that compares?

Thanks.

hey Luke, i'm not sure what you mean.  searching the firetv app store there is only one listing for Emby so that is the one that is installed?  this isn't some offbrand app it's the Emby app listed in the store, can you clarify why you think it's not the standard app?

Right we actually have two apps in the store, so I was asking you to try the other one. It should be version 3.4.74 or greater. What version number do you have now?

You have a VPN?  Reverse proxy?  Security settings on your router?

Something is interfering with the device communicating with your server:

I/System.out( 3310): VolleyError com.android.volley.NoConnectionError: java.net.SocketException: recvfrom failed: ECONNRESET (Connection reset by peer)
