In another plugin i tried (prior to this being released), I didn't have to specify the content. It worked out whether it was a movie or a TV series, so I figured it worked something similar

Otherwise, it does map most of the series correctly as a TV series. I had to manually edit my M3U to remove "EN - " though ahead of time since IPTV Boss renames for TV series doesn't output the renamed name it only does for Movies.

The names of all the series start with a c:\x:\Series This is the entry from the M3U file This is how it looks in emby. Any help greatly appreciated Im having the same issue. I am using latest dll, and scanning is complete, but 99% of my content is like this

We need to add a way to remove those prefixes.

hispeed 9 Posted December 1, 2025 Posted December 1, 2025 @softworkz I hat to remove the webstreams plugin because it was very unstable and today I couldn't start anymore. So i removed it and it works perfectly again. 025-11-29T07:13:41.899812755Z Error WebAppService-0HNHF2R9DHUSV:00000001: Error processing request 2025-11-29T07:13:41.899857881Z *** Error Report *** 2025-11-29T07:13:41.899873686Z Version: 4.9.1.90 2025-11-29T07:13:41.899888072Z Command line: /system/EmbyServer.dll -programdata /config -ffdetect /bin/ffdetect -ffmpeg /bin/ffmpeg -ffprobe /bin/ffprobe -restartexitcode 3 2025-11-29T07:13:41.899902543Z Operating system: Linux version 5.10.0-32-amd64 (debian-kernel@lists.debian.org) (gcc-10 (Debian 10.2.1-6) 10.2.1 20210110, GNU ld (GNU Binutils for Debian) 2.35.2) #1 2025-11-29T07:13:41.899942095Z OS/Process: x64/x64 2025-11-29T07:13:41.899956465Z Framework: .NET 8.0.11 2025-11-29T07:13:41.899970301Z Runtime: system/System.Private.CoreLib.dll 2025-11-29T07:13:41.899984147Z Processor count: 6 2025-11-29T07:13:41.899997796Z Data path: /config 2025-11-29T07:13:41.900011476Z Application path: /system 2025-11-29T07:13:41.900025385Z MediaBrowser.Common.Extensions.ServiceUnavailableException: MediaBrowser.Common.Extensions.ServiceUnavailableException: Emby Server startet. griam01 14 Posted December 4, 2025 Posted December 4, 2025 @softworkzIs there a way to schedule a refresh on an interval?

The plugin says last refresh was at 6 yesterday morning. I have just done a restart of Emby and now it is refreshing 1
MrSuspect 0 Posted December 9, 2025 Posted December 9, 2025 (edited) @softworkzIs there anyway to add *trea* code to it? Instead of using m3u? Edited December 9, 2025 by softworkz Redacted
softworkz 5066 Posted December 9, 2025 Posted December 9, 2025 No. Please see here: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/142334-new-webstreams-plugin/page/3/#findComment-1469377
Chillout 110 Posted December 10, 2025 Posted December 10, 2025 First, thanks for creating this app! I have been creating .strm files and this plug-in will replace all that effort. Unfortunately, for one of my providers, linking the m3u URL results an in error: Unsupported Playlist: Unknown playlist type It works fine if download the m3u and keep it local but would require manually updating as new content is released. Is there a setting or something I am missing? My other provider accepts the URL link just fine. Regardless, even I have to do manual updates this plug-in will save me lots of time. The format of the m3u that doesnt work online linking directly to URL (but works fine locally): #EXTM3U #EXTINF:0 group-title="Movie VOD",xxx 2025 [1080p] [WEBRip] [WEB] #EXTGRP:Movie VOD https://x.com/movie/x/x/900041314 #EXTINF:0 group-title="Movie VOD",xxx 2025 [1080p] [WEBRip] [WEB] #EXTGRP:Movie VOD https://x.com/movie/x/x/900041313
softworkz 5066 Posted December 11, 2025 Posted December 11, 2025 @Chillout - it could be a mime-type issue. When you load the m3u in a browser while having dev tools open (F12 = > network tab) - what's the content-type response header?
Chillout 110 Posted December 11, 2025 Posted December 11, 2025 (edited) @softworkz I'm not sure if this is what you are after but i can IM you the m3u URL if it will be helpful. Edited December 11, 2025 by Chillout
