Did you configure it as TV?

No, I used the first option,

And then you are asking us why you don't get them handled and presented like TV series?

In another plugin i tried (prior to this being released), I didn't have to specify the content. It worked out whether it was a movie or a TV series, so I figured it worked something similar

I am running into similar issues with source naming, the "EN - ", is what is causing it.  Otherwise, it does map most of the series correctly as a TV series.  I had to manually edit my M3U to remove "EN - " though ahead of time since IPTV Boss renames for TV series doesn't output the renamed name it only does for Movies.

Hi,  I am a new user trying the plugin for series and getting a strange result.  The names of all the series start with a c:\x:\Series

This is the entry from the M3U file

This is how it looks in emby.  Any help greatly appreciated

Im having the same issue. I am using latest dll, and scanning is complete, but 99% of my content is like this

Acknowledged. We need to add a way to remove those prefixes.

Yes. How is that different to add stream source?

Don't use it. I just asked as a means to confirm that you really have the dll version.

I hat to remove the webstreams plugin because it was very unstable and today I couldn't start anymore. So i removed it and it works perfectly again.

I'd need a full server log where startup is hanging.

@softworkzIs there a way to schedule a refresh on an interval?

It's the "Refresh Internet Channels" scheduled task inside Emby.

I had that set already but the last refresh on the channels didn't show the time change that it did it on the interval specified.  I had it set to do it once a day at 1230am and it shows last refreshed yesterday at 6pm which is when I last manually refreshed it.

I have a similar issue. My Internet channels are set for midnight. The plugin says last refresh was at 6 yesterday morning. I have just done a restart of Emby and now it is refreshing

@softworkzIs there anyway to add *trea* code to it? Instead of using m3u?

First, thanks for creating this app!  I have been creating .strm files and this plug-in will replace all that effort.

Unfortunately,  for one of my providers, linking the m3u URL results an in error: Unsupported Playlist: Unknown playlist type

It works fine if download the m3u and keep it local but would require manually updating as new content is released.

Is there a setting or something I am missing? My other provider accepts the URL link just fine.  Regardless, even I have to do manual updates this plug-in will save me lots of time.

The format of the m3u that doesnt work online linking directly to URL (but works fine locally):

#EXTM3U
#EXTINF:0 group-title="Movie VOD",xxx 2025 [1080p] [WEBRip] [WEB]
#EXTGRP:Movie VOD
https://x.com/movie/x/x/900041314
#EXTINF:0 group-title="Movie VOD",xxx 2025 [1080p] [WEBRip] [WEB]
#EXTGRP:Movie VOD
https://x.com/movie/x/x/900041313

@Chillout - it could be a mime-type issue.

When you load the m3u in a browser while having dev tools open (F12 = > network tab) - what's the content-type response header?

@softworkz

I'm not sure if this is what you are after but i can IM you the m3u URL if it will be helpful.

Hello

i have a timeout error when downloading my m3u url (big file: 200Mb):

"The request was canceled due to the configured HttpClient.Timeout of 10 seconds elapsing."

How to extend timeout?

Thanks
