What's the situation right now? Is "the Purge" right or wrong? Did you try to re-identify the serries (if wrong)?

I would love to add in my home cameras.  also how can we control access to who can see what we add in (i don't want to give everybody access to my cameras)?

I'm afraid, no. This is not allowed because it wouldn't give you the results you want. It would ceate chaos.

Thanks for the reply.  My installation is on Synology.  I found a really helpful tutorial on how to access and modify the plugins folder in a forum post from FrostByte but I think I will wait for the next release.  Any idea when that might occur?

The Purge is wrong.
I reidentified the show, now I have two shows, the right one and the wrong one (but I am not sure whether PUR+ was there before)

But I don't see a way to move the episodes from "The Purge" to "PUR+"

with the plugin dll you posted here, are there still episodes which won't show up in Web Streams?
E.g. for "Die Sendung mit der Maus" I see this episode in the m3u:

I did not notice any plugin updates, but these and other episodes are now there.

Next problem I see:
For whatever reasons, Sesamstraße is called "Das Magazin" at Kika m3u - I see the same in Mediathekview.
In Web Streams plugin I see the episodes in filter view:

 

But I can't find the show at all in Emby.

So, I absolutely am Loving the plugin, but with content access it's either all or nothing.

Say I have 5 Sources listed for the Top-Level, I can only restrict the plugin entirely but cannot control each source's permissions.  What if I only want Source X (CCTV) to be viewable only by me, I can't control that..

Also something with the display filters gets a little funky, there's no background behind the options when you click a field (using Edge Windows)  As you can see here.  It looks fine at first, but after say 10 filters it bugs out..

Unfortunately beyond some ugly hacks, misusing parental control and tags, there's no solution - yet!

The problem is that it requires server change. It can't be done at the side of the plugin (alone).

Can you please reset your browser cache, press F12, go to the "Network" tab and check "Disable cace". Then F5 back in the browser.

You might want to install the Data Explorer plugin Besides data from remote providers, it also displays all the currnet data of items (the regular UI is hiding some).

 

Specifically interesting in your case would be the ProviderIDs as well as IndexNumber and ParentIndexNumber. Seeing these might give us some more clue..

I did not even to have to clear the cache, but it seems to display properly now.

Thanks!  (Plus those plugins look like fun..)

A little off topic but by any chance you know of fixed for Pluto TV streams.  they always seem to die on ad injections or commercials.

I switched from catalog to your provided dll, but deleted all sources and started from scratch.

okay I did not make any changes, just refreshed the Kika m3u in web streams today again.
Now I have the show, although it is identified wrong. But yesterday this show was not there definitely:

I observed Emby logs while refreshing the playlist, lots of requests were made to the metadata providers. 
My guess is that there is some daily limit enforced by Emby server how much requests to the providers one can send to prevent problems with them? @Luke
That would explain why the show was not there yesterday but shows up today after refresh. (I made a refresh yesterday, too).

Or better insert into another m3u.

I would like to define my filters with an m3u file and afterwards copy it over to a fetched m3u.

I mean I can see them and copy, but not insert it.

so i finally got around to checking this out. it seems like it could be nice. but dont see how its easier and more effective and more useful than the app i made for free for people to use...   

so with apollo tv there is like 45 m3us for tv shows and 1 for movies... 

your method i have to add each one of those, and give each its own name, then they all show as folders in web stream folder...  

i will say i like the fact you hide the credentials , thats nice ... 

im assuming there are other good reasons you made this plugin as well.. besides its a plugin ...
