No identification possible DS1813plus / 4.8.11.0

Dear Team,

I am not able to get any identification any longer, there could be multiple reasons, here the setup:

Synology DS1813plus (EmbyMeta folder access read/write is granted for EmbySystem user)

FW 4.8.11.0

I think you should look at this first.

Because of this from your log.

System.IO.IOException: System.IO.IOException: The configured user limit (8192) on the number of inotify watches has been reached, or the operating system failed to allocate a required resource.

Then you have issues with Emby reaching the internet.

MediaBrowser.Model.Net.HttpException: MediaBrowser.Model.Net.HttpException: Connection to https://www.mb3admin.com/admin/service/EmbyPackages.json timed out

MediaBrowser.Model.Net.HttpException: MediaBrowser.Model.Net.HttpException: Connection to https://api.themoviedb.org/3/configuration?api_key=x_secret2_x timed out

These are usually some sort of VPN, Firewall or network issue.

Have a look at all this then try again.

Hi, all of the server's outgoing communications are timing and failing. Typical causes of this are firewall, security software or VPN. Can you please look into those and let us know what you find? Thanks !

Hey Guys,

many thanks for your guidance, IT guy fixed it finally, took half an hour to search it. Changed router from IPv6 to IPv4, now everything is accessable very fast! 🙂
