Bankcee902 2 Posted September 3, 2025 Posted September 3, 2025 Hey guys, I have been trying to figure out how to have English set as the default audio for some anime/manga TV shows I have. The movies have no issue as I have selected English as the preferred language under playback but this does not seem to work with TV shows. I have made sure that there is indeed English audio able to be selected and can select it but, I don't want to have to do that for every episode that comes on. I am running EMBY 4.8.10.0 Thank you.

Do you have maybe have "Play default audio track regardless of language" option enabled? 1 1
Bankcee902 2 Posted September 3, 2025 Author Posted September 3, 2025 Hey thanks for the reply, Yes I do. That was one of the first things I had checked on. I am just checking now and I have made sure all files are titled correctly as well.

In that case you should try disabling it, as Japanese tracks in your files are likely flagged as default. You can also clear saved tracks if you wanna rewatch any episode 1
Bankcee902 2 Posted September 3, 2025 Author Posted September 3, 2025 I was researching during the reply time and downloaded and tried MKVToolNix. worked perfectly and allowed me to removed the audio and subtitles not needed. I truly appreciate your help in this Grim. 2
