HairyBizRat 21 Posted September 3, 2025 Posted September 3, 2025 Cover Art works fine but I would like it to only add cover for UHD 4K movies and not do Bluray (1080p) covers, is that possible? I prefer the regular Emby poster for everything but I want the UHD for my 4K movies only
ebr 16169 Posted September 3, 2025 Posted September 3, 2025 Yes, you could use either specific covers or profiles to accomplish this.

Thanks for the reply, maybe i'm dumb but i cant get Cover Art to ignore all media except 4K which i want UHD covers, is there a user guide or do you know how to get it to ignore everything except 4K?
averrkn0t 5 Posted September 3, 2025 Posted September 3, 2025 Hi, I'm using the latest Cover Art plugin, Android latest Emby version. The issue I'm having is for my 4K TV shows. The cover art does not show the 4K cover art like it does for my 4K Movies. Is there a setting that I need to tweak? Thanks.

Luke 42077 Posted September 6, 2025 Posted September 6, 2025 OK right TV shows are containers and therefore don't have video resolutions. I guess we'll have to think about that. I suppose one way is to let you add a tag to the series so that it will get the 4k treatment.

For my media all of the 4K TV shows used the default "Series" cover, so to have them show in the 4K cover I added a new TV 4K profile, went to Specific Cover Selection and had the "Series" cover use the "UHD cover. Problem solved.

Problem solved. Exactly. Another way would have been with Tags but, if you have your content physically separated on the file system, the profile feature as you did it is easier.
