all4dom 101 Posted September 1, 2025 Posted September 1, 2025 My son was trying to watch a movie but only the volume was playing but no picture. When I took it off of auto & selected 1080P 15 mgs it played, but was transcoding. The movie was a rip from make MKV. I tried another, had no issue then tried a different movie & had the same issue. His tv is a 2023 Samsung crystal & it was the app version available in the app store, not the latest. I can add log files & more info but I believe I read something about this when trying to play some files in auto & they had to be transcoded. I'm not sure if this a Samsung issue or emby issue?
