Ver 2.1.9 missing skip button?

I just noticed that I was unable to skip an episode with this version on my q80c Samsung TV. I had to uninstall it & revert back to the version available in the app store because i need the skip button s my daughter is autistic & all she does is watch certain episodes of yo gabba gabba. Is this a bug?

The channel up button works on my 2018 for skipping to the next episode when using 2.1.9.  Problem may be year specific.

But the button is there in other versions. Could this just be a bug with the newest version?

If it works with 2.1.8 for you then my guess would be there was a change made in 2.1.9 that only effects certain models.  The last couple of updates were made for just that type of thing. 

That's why I normally give both the app version and my model when reporting something.  With the Tizen version changing every year the devs sometimes have to run an emulator to mimic different Tizen versions.

Another option could be he did that intentionally and just forgot to remove it on older TVs?

BTW there is a new Up Next section in the OSD for skipping episodes which is kind of cool, but it probably won't be as easy to use for your daughter.  @Luke

My tv is a 2023 model & if I were to guess, its just an error & hoping someone will chime in soon to confirm. Being a prt of the OSD makes it much harder & am not even sure why they would it now. Also hoping other issues with the video.quality issue gets resolved.
