Problem With LiveTV on LG Smart TV App

Hi,

I have revently set up Live TV and its working fine on a number of platforms (iOS, Browser, AppleTV, PS4) however we have two LG TV's in the house and I get a "No compatible streams are currently available message" when trying to stream any TV content.  I can only conclude this is something to do with formats.  I have tried setting server side Transcoding (LG App Options), but these have no effect. 

Attaching the log files here.  Anyone have any idea what the problem could be?

Hi, when this happens, are you able to play the exact same channel in the emby web app on the server machine?

Yes I am and also to play it on any other device - iOs, PS4 etc etc

Hi, any further updates?  I have now tried this on a newer LG TV (1yr old) and I get the same error, so I conclude this must be an issue with the LG TV app.

Can you please:

  • Ensure debug logging is enabled on the server
  • Do a LiveTV test in the browser
  • Repeat a Live TV test on LG

Attach

  • Server log
  • ffmpeg logs from both the browser and TV tests
