Installing Emby Server on D: Drive Instead of C:

Hi everyone, I’m not sure if this has been asked before, but I have a question about my Emby Server setup.

By default, Emby installs on my C :  drive, which is also my Windows boot drive. However, all my media is stored on my D : drive, which is an SSD as well. The issue is that I’ve had to wipe and reinstall Windows a few times, and each time I’ve had to reinstall Emby Server and manually reconfigure all the media paths.

Is there a way to install or move Emby Server to the D : drive so that I don’t lose my configuration if I ever have to reinstall Windows again? I’d love to make the setup more resilient and avoid repeating the same steps every time.

Thanks in advance!

Each Emby instance is self-contained, just copy/move entire Emby-server folder (Win default is C:\Users\<your-user>\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server) to D:\ drive and start it from there (EmbyServer.exe).
