tOLJY 49 Posted August 23, 2025 Posted August 23, 2025 Hey, weird one. I guess there was a new update to the Android client, on my Google TV it's always showing GMT time in the top right. Used to show local time. Have confirmed my TV has things in local time, as does my Linux server and the emby server instance running on it too.
Luke 42077 Posted August 24, 2025 Posted August 24, 2025 HI there, what version number of the app do you have installed?
Luke 42077 Posted September 8, 2025 Posted September 8, 2025 @tOLJYare you still having an issue with this?
tOLJY 49 Posted September 8, 2025 Author Posted September 8, 2025 Yes, still an issue. Still running 3.4.74
Luke 42077 Posted September 8, 2025 Posted September 8, 2025 Do you need to configure the date time locale setting in the app?
Solution tOLJY 49 Posted September 8, 2025 Author Solution Posted September 8, 2025 Oh woops, wrong post - thought (hoped) this was the one about episodes not completing properly. Not an issue anymore. I was able to fix it by setting my timezone on my tv to a random one, then back to the correct one. But it did revert to GMT in emby again a few days/a week later and I did the same thing again and it fixed it. No issues since. 1
tOLJY 49 Posted September 14, 2025 Author Posted September 14, 2025 Randomly this morning it happened again, showing 10pm GMT when it was actually 8am aedt. My tv showed 8am correctly. Again, I had to change the timezone on my tv temporarily before emby recognised the correct time. 1
