I can't keep both drive connected at the same time, that's why I Need Emby (or StableBit) to not remove the offline contents :(

I'm curious as to why you can't have both connected at the same time ?

Because I'm simplifying thing to make it as clear and simply as possible, but drives are not only two ; I don't have enough usb hdd caddy / usb ports to manage them all, the easiest solution (at least for me) is the way I asked, without need to spend money in USB caddy / USB hubs / server upgrade / etc etc ; I really appreciate people that wants to help, but if the help is the solution "buy an usb hub" "upgrade the server" "buy a larger drive" "etc" is not what I'm looking for so their answers is just a waste of their/mine time (they/I need to log in to answer a/is not good solution) :)
I don't want to be rude, just to be honest! ^^

Thank you for the answer 😉

But the hard truth right now, is that if Emby sees the drive mound missing, media is removed.

You could enable NFO reader and saver under your library settings.

That should save you time on next reconnect.

Then all metadata should be in the media folders, beside your media.

And import ( Size wise ) faster.

I think @Neminem covered it, no?

Nope, still not a solution for my problem :(

Is there any chance you can introduce a new flag in Library scan that allow to not remove media?

Or is there any way to sync Kodi library (not removing item) with a specific Emby Library?

Or any other idea? :D

Thanks a lot

Create two libraries, one for each HDD. Disable Scan media library scheduled scan and any do manual scans.
