Collections not displaying content

I kind of assumed that the non-store version of Emby Theater for Windows wasn't necessarily being supported/updated, but it recently changed in a way that broke collections. I keep the non-store version on one of my PCs as my 'stable' version. The version number is 3.0.21.

Collections no longer display their contents, but instead show the "My Media" list from the home screen, i.e. a set of thumbnails representing my libraries, which obviously is useless in this context. This changed just a day or two ago.

I'm having the same issue.  All collections are just showing the home screen icons.  The "Movies" link will direct you to the movies in the collection.

Here are some screen shots.  The "Movies" link is circled in red which takes you to the actual movies in the collection.  The web and iOS clients seem to functioning correctly.  This happens with versions Emby Theater 3.0.20 and 3.0.21.  I haven't tried the Windows Store version.

Additional info.  I first noticed this yesterday with version 3.0.21 (in my theater) after I adjusted the new text size option.  I then tried it on my desktop with version 3.0.20 and it worked the first time going into a Collection.  Once I adjusted the text size in the "General" section to "small" the Collections were broken on this version too.  It remains broken even when setting the text size back to "Default".  Not sure if that's related but just an observation.

The titles are now appearing in the collections.  Thank you.

2 minor issues:

1. The "Sort By" does not apply when changing selections, i.e. "Title" or "Release Date".  The collection must be exited and re-entered for the new "Sort By" to take affect.
2. I have one collection with 71 titles (a demo collection) and the titles are not wrapping and appear as one long horizontal strip.  All other large collections wrap correctly with some having more than 20 titles (other demo collections, 007 James Bond collection, ...).

Looks like issue 1 is fixed.  Thank you.

When a collection has multiple categories, they will be displayed as horizontal lists.

Changing the "Group By" filter to "None" fixes the problem for that collection.  That is odd because the other large collections have the "Group By" filter set to "Media Type" and they work fine.

When you say multiple categories do you mean Genres?

Whatever you added to the collection. It means you added more than one item type, something other than a movie.

After looking at the collection in ET legacy I see that it has the trailers for (2) movies included in the list.  These trailers do not appear in the Web and iOS clients.  I can't remove the trailers from the collection while in ET legacy.  Is this a bug?

Screen shot from ET legacy.  Top Gun and Mission Impossible have trailers and are being displayed in the collection list.

It's not allowing me to remove the trailer itself while in ET legacy, and the trailers do no show in the Web client version.  The only way I can remove the trailers is to remove the entire movie from the collection.  It looks like ET legacy is including the trailers in the collection list for whichever movies have them in their movie folder.  I can probably remove the trailers from the movie folders but that's just masking the problem.

Again, the other clients don't exhibit this issue.

After looking at the collections again, I see the Top Gun collection has the same issue.  Showing the trailer in the collection list.

The title icon just shakes back-n-forth a couple times and nothing happens.  I also noticed that when I set the "Group By" to "Media Type" the trailer disappears from the collection list.  It only appears when the "Group By" is set to "None".

So, to sum it up:
ET legacy shows trailers from the movies in the collection lists when the "Group By" filter is "None"
ET legacy hides trailers from  the movies in the collection lists when the "Group By" filter is "Media Type"

ET legacy with collections that have more than one rows worth of movies and has a movie with a trailer will be displayed as a single horizontal strip when the "Group By" filter is "Media Type". Trailers are NOT displayed.

ET legacy with collections that have more than one rows worth of movies and has a movie with a trailer will wrap when the "Group By" filter is "None". The trailers are displayed.
