Guacamolito 0 Posted August 18, 2025 Posted August 18, 2025 Hi, I'm testing the cinema intros feature for the first time and i really like it. BUT, i feel like all the point of this feature is immerse ourselves like we are at a movie theater. Drop your phone, shut up, enjoy, here is a movie trailer for you and 3, 2, 1, here is your film ! Beautiful ! Love it. And here it is, the film backdrop popping out of nowhere for a fraction of second because i guess Emby has to load the very beginning of the film. Understandable but it break the very same immersion we just built. I feel like it would be so much better to pre-load the start of the film while intros are playing or at least display a solid black color instead of the backdrop in order to fake a clean cut. If it is possible to avoid that i would love to know how, if not well this is a feature request i guess. P.S. : As English isn't my first language I apologize for any mistakes. Also, BIG Thanks to the Emby team for all the hard work, I bought Emby Premiere a year ago and I'm happy with it. Now let's make Emby better every day !!! 250819_005617.mp4

Luke 42077 Posted August 18, 2025 Posted August 18, 2025 Hi, yes this question has come up before and it’s possible for the future. Thanks.
Guacamolito 0 Posted August 19, 2025 Author Posted August 19, 2025 Hi Luke, Does it means it is already done and coming in one of the next versions or just an idea at this moment that needs to be developed ?

Hi, no it means that others have brought up this idea before and it's something we may look at in future updates. Thanks.
