luser 37 Posted August 16, 2025 Posted August 16, 2025 (edited) Has anyone found a workaround for this? To summarize the issue... Issue For videos shorter than 5 minutes, "Video Preview Thumbnails" aren't displayed when hovering over the progress bar. However, a valid BIF file IS generated for the file. Therefore, there seems to be some simple logic, such as "if video duration < 5 min, don't display preview images", disabling the display of images. It's already odd that these images aren't shown for videos shorter than 5 minutes. But the fact that processing power is used to generate a BIF file that's never utilized makes this even worse. Suggested Fix Remove the logic that disables the display of "Video Preview Thumbnails". If "Video Preview Thumbnails" exist for a video, they should always be displayed.
