Well the try with a media file that DOES NOT need to be transcoded 🤷‍♂️

And see if that helps you......

in fact a 1080 7mbits file is limited to 5mbits and is read without limitation and the graphics card is not used.
A 4k file limited to 5mbits is actually read at more than 20mbits on average between 24 and 37mbits. And the graphics card is used between 94% and 100% compared to before where it was more like 13% or so.
A 720p file played directly without limitation consumes between 2 and 27 Mbps. This is completely abnormal, and I remind you that this only happens on a Firestick or FireTV Cube, or anything from Amazon. It doesn't happen on an LG TV or Samsung TV.

The file shouldn't use more than 2-6 Mbps, so it has nothing to do with transcoding.

Well, I kept everything in a browser with a remote connection. The following files (90GB, remux, avatar, read in 4 to 15 Mbps) are completely normal.

I tested Wednesday s01e01 at 1080p in a browser. I'm using between 2 and 7 Mbps.

I tested the original 720p file mentioned in the previous conversation in a browser. I'm using between 200 kbps and 5 Mbps.

Good evening, I had a second internet connection installed at home so I could test it properly. After analyzing it, version 3.4.74 is fine and everything is working normally. However, version 2.1.26a has significant download speeds exceeding 10 Mbps.

I made two videos, each several minutes long, to demonstrate the problem and the irregularity.

While you are playing something on your device, go to your computer or mobile, doesn't matter, go to manage your server, and in the drop down on the left you should see the user sessions tab, as I posted in the previous image. As it's is discussed in this post.

1-a 4k file to 4mbits read in direct that suppose to be transcode because is 4-5 mbits. that's the problem
2- second image 4k file to 720kbits direct

3- 1080p file to 5bits not transcoding direct stream

stream no transcoding that explain to much bandwith

always with version 2.1.26a

Can you upload the logs that include those test sessions? Not transcoding when you think it should makes more sense.

i need to disconnect my second internet provider for testing before 24 august. for not to be charging full month. after that i cannot help more

Can you also upload the server log for those sessions?

From your logs:

You have mixed bitrate limits of 6mbps and 7mbps (user/global?)

The Fire TV connects as local and remote.

Local - Benoit's 2nd Fire TV Cube Emby-Client-Version=3.4.74
Remote - Benoit's 2nd Fire TV Cube Emby-Client-Version=2.1.26a

The Samsung TV appears to always be a remote connection so it doesn't make any sense why it shows as direct streaming in your first image. The logs show that it's transcoding.
