File transcodes on Nvidia Shield, but not on my android phone.

Hi, I'm trying to understand why the shield which is android is transcoding a file that direct plays on the android emby app on my phone or my android tablet. Any help would be appreciated. I'm attaching a log of the transcode.

the shield is connected through ethernet on a lan network. i'm running the most recent server version 4.8.11.0 on windows 11 my download speed is 943 Mbps and upload speed of 360 Mbps.

Due to unsupported video profile (Rext).

Thanks for your reply. so if i understood those correctly, rext is a type of hevc that is unsupported for android by default. so why does emby direct play that file on my android phone and android tablet? is it just the shield that has problem with rext?

The app queries the device for the list of supported hevc profiles and goes based on that.
