Stop Dead Sessions

I have 2 sessions running right now - both from the same User and he says he stopped watching it last night.

Emby Sessions: 2
"Wood","Movie Name"
"Wood","Movie Name"

Attached is a screenshot of the Emby Server web dashboard ...

Is there a way to kill these 'dead' sessions without restarting the server?

I thought I revisit this as it is still a real issue for those using Chromecast.

Last night, one of my friends started watching a movie using his iPhone casting to a Google Chromecast then stopped watching it 2 hours later.

I have a Pushover notification set up for any media which enters the 'stopped' state.

When I woke up this morning I had over 500 notifications - 1 a minute saying that 'Dave had stopped watching ...".

So yeah, t's still a problem.

I have had to block his access for now to stop my phone from going mental.

Yes, I am aware I could turn off the notifications but that would defeat the object of seeing if there is something wrong.

This happens to me if I pause any media as well - after exactly 1 minute I get a Pushover notification saying "Paul has stopped watching ..."

I will leave that with you.
