Custom Data for Studios

Hey @Luke,

In another thread I already mentioned that I'm using Studios to put the EAN Codes for the series/movies to the entries.

Currently I'm using the Rest-API to make the process a lot easier for me, but now I'm wondering if there is any way to put some extra data on the entry like "originalName: Naruto Shippuden S12D01" or even a JSON Object as Description to store some meta in which compartment of my shelf I've put the disc (I'll equip the compartments with unique identifiers including some kind of qr/barcode for scanning)

 

It's totally fine, that said data will only be usable using my external app, but I'd rather like it to be stored on the server with emby instead of having an error prone local config somewhere else.

Hi, there are no fields for custom data. You could use providerids though I suppose, for things that are appropriate at least. But that’s not meant to handle plain text like a name so that may cause problems.
