Emby app crash on IOS 26 Beta 6 Dev

Since i updated my 16 pro max on IOS 26 Beta 6 Dev, when i play something on app, my phone black screen and relaunch.
I think its not adapted to this version atm ?

I have the same issue with beta 6 and latest Emby IOS version. Content plays for a short period of time. Screen freezes then device reboots.

Update : 

I just made the last update of IOS 26 beta 6 (they upload a new one) and now, look working nice without reboot.

It's still repeatable for me. I'm running the latest iPadOS 26.0 Developer Beta (shows iPadOS is up to date). Version iPadOS 26.0 (23A5318f) - Developer Beta

Baseline - physically restarted iPad
WiFi disabled (offline/downloaded content being tested)
Launched Emby 2.2.41 - selected Downloads
Launched content
Perhaps coincidental - enabled subtitles and changed playback speed to 1.25x
Crashed and rebooted soon thereafter.

Repeated steps above and went to 1.50x speed. It lasted a bit longer and crashed/rebooted.

And i can add : i just updated on IOS 26 beta 7, emby still crashing my iphone

I submitted a crash report to Apple today after Emby crashed and the iPad restarted.

Just had this twice in the last hour during video playback (Emby 2.2.41 on iOS 26 public beta 4,  iPhone 16 Pro Max)

Same symptoms - screen just goes black and then after a few seconds iOS starts up again.

I’ve also submitted a crash report.

at least for me, this issue

(a) still happens even on the newest beta (on an iPad)

and (b) is fixable by transcoding the file at a lower bitrate. my iPad doesn't crash if I'm transcoding a larger file to 4mbps quality, for instance. and it appears to have more trouble and crash sooner if I'm direct playing a file that is higher bitrate.

Just wanted to mention that the problem is still there. I‘m on beta 8 on my iPad 4th Gen. Two weeks till release of ios 26.

The same here, I’m on vacation and had prepared some downloads in Emby at home, but there’s no chance to watch an episode. After 20–30 minutes the iPad reboots. With other apps it works without any problems.

It does seem to be more stable with ios26 RC. I haven’t seen a reboot with it so far and managed around 3 hours of continuous video playback last night.

Same, I don’t see any more crashing on the newest public beta when direct playing.

Emby hasn't crashed on the latest version of ios26.
