AlanBatie 5 Posted August 14, 2025 Posted August 14, 2025 I have my directories broken out by letters, with 0 for the numbered titles, e.g. 4400, however only the actual letters are being shown even in the folder list. 4.8.10.0 on Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS

AlanBatie 5 Posted August 14, 2025 Author Posted August 14, 2025 special characters cause problems on unix systems and should be avoided in file/directory names
GrimReaper 4739 Posted August 14, 2025 Posted August 14, 2025 (edited) *Moving to Linux forum* "0 Numbered Shows"? Edit: Is that 4400 TV show folder present anywhere in Folder view, as per <CollapseVideoFolders>/<CollapseSingleItemFolders> setting as folder "0" currently has single item only? Does same occur if you add another nested TV show folder? Edited August 14, 2025 by GrimReaper

Lessaj 467 Posted August 15, 2025 Posted August 15, 2025 I've only really seen issues with certain special characters on Android but not on any other *nix system I've used. It can be a bit annoying to escape them properly sometimes but not usually a big deal with double quotes.

AlanBatie 5 Posted August 22, 2025 Author Posted August 22, 2025 FWIW, I moved the 4400 directory in the A directory, and Emby now sees it and adds a # to the beginning of the letter menu on the right of the shows page...
Luke 42077 Posted August 23, 2025 Posted August 23, 2025 I think if you put the year in the folder name it would be less likely to happen.
