zeustek 1 Posted August 12, 2025 Posted August 12, 2025 Can we please have an option in the Windows Emby app to prevent the display from going to sleep. My setup consists of a PC with an OLED monitor in my 'man-cave' and to prevent burn-in I have the display sleep after 3 minutes of inactivity. I have the same TV connected to my TV in the lounge and when I turn on my TV my display output switches exclusively to the TV automagically thanks to Windows 11. However, certain activities that require the screen to stay on, such as playing music with the Emby app, don't prevent the screen from going to sleep. When this happens, audio output switches back to the man-cave. Also, if I take a break from whatever I'm watching, by the time I get back to the living room the screen is off again and I have to log in to my PC again. Can we please have an option to prevent the display from sleeping when Emby is open. Foobar2000 has this option under options > playback if you need an example.
Luke 42077 Posted August 12, 2025 Posted August 12, 2025 Hi, video playback already does this, right?

Luke 42077 Posted September 30, 2025 Posted September 30, 2025 @zeustekso this would be an option you'd like in our Windows app?
