Can you display release date for Movies on Details page (not just release year)?

For TV shows it shows the full release date on the episode detail page, but for Movies it just shows the year.  Is that configurable somewhere?

Similar question for Mixed content, the release date is in the metadata, but it just shows the year on the detail page. Id like to show the full release date.

Equivalent to Movies would be TV shows (which also show only Year), not episodes.

Not currently.

Personally, I'd put that info in "About" section, wouldn't want it displayed in full on top of detail screen. That's just my preference, though.

For TV Show episodes it does show the full release date in the detail page here.  

For the series as a whole it shows release date - ending date (year only)

 

For Movies on the grid view I agree I'd only want to see the year there, but once you click into a movie, it would be nice to see the full date if you wanted to.  I was trying to get it to work for Mixed content but I saw it doesn't even work for Movies.

As stated above, that is not feasible currently. You are welcome to open a Feature Request in related forum section.

Oh OK,  I was confused by the first part of your response where you said it didn't show for TV shows.

It doesn't, it shows only Year (or Year-Year/Year-Present) for TV shows. Only episodes show Release date in full.
