Music video naming scheme?

Is there any way I can name my music videos so that Emby will pick up the artist and song name from the file title? It seems like it should assume that name is "Artist - Title.mkv", but that doesn't work.

hi, there is no naming scheme. Embedded artist info is supported in the same format as music files. You can also fill it in using the metadata editor.

@chowbok, I personally create a NFO file based on other metadata fetchers and then have emby pick it up when it scans the folder. Details below (though I have now transitioned to using folders for each "video" in order to keep custom images with the item).

Hi, I managed to get emby find most of the tags (genre, album, year, artist, title) embeded in MKVs but track numbers, is there a way or that's not possible? I also tried the nfo route with no success

In the coming period I want to see if I can get started with tdarr to(for use on my Ugreen Nas), for example, transcode DTS-Wav to multichannel FLAC (5.1), but also to reduce the size of high-bitrate video files. I quickly read that tdarr can also tag existing (music)files. Perhaps this is an option?
