lipeifeng 0 Posted August 10, 2025 Posted August 10, 2025 Does Emby not have the feature to display the total number of movies in the media library? Or have I not set it up correctly?
Luke 42077 Posted August 10, 2025 Posted August 10, 2025 Hi there. What makes you think it doesn’t show the number of movies? Where are you looking for it?

Neminem 1518 Posted August 10, 2025 Posted August 10, 2025 Try flipping you phone to landscape position.

Neminem 1518 Posted August 10, 2025 Posted August 10, 2025 Not that I know off. Devs will have to answer.
brothom 177 Posted August 12, 2025 Posted August 12, 2025 (edited) @Happy2Play@LukeI would suggest adding the following CSS: .itemsViewSettingsContainer { flex-wrap: wrap; justify-content: center; align-items: center; } And remove this: @container itemsviewsettingscontainer not (min-width: 50ch) { .listTotalRecordCount { display: none !important; } } Flex wrap is perfect for this: Desktop stays unchanged: Mobile doesn't lose functionality Setting the property "row-gap: 0" might also be nice for a slightly more compact view. Luke 42077 Posted August 12, 2025 Posted August 12, 2025 Yes flex-wrap is perfect for that however it begs the question, just because you can put those things on two lines doesn't mean allocating two lines of space on a small screen is a good idea.

I personally find the quantity not being display in the list views to be really annoying. Whenever I want to see how many entries are in a specific filter (genre, tags, etc) I tend to switch my phone's browser to desktop mode and check it there. Whenever I'm working on frontend stuff I tend to keep the rule that any usable components do not change position and do not become toggle without the user's interaction. Whatever is displayed stays displayed and whatever is hidden stays hidden. That rule really helps building consistent interfaces. It would be really nice to "always" display it. Besides, most phones are > 320px nowadays, unlike before when they were the rule they're now the exception. Edited August 13, 2025 by brothom 1 1
