03mini@gmail.com 1 Posted August 9, 2025 Posted August 9, 2025 Old thread and grave digging here. LOL. Running in an unRAID container I have this problem which has only recently surfaced. I did try removing the libraries but the exact same behavior still happens. I have done permission refreshes both on the Docker new safe permissions, and the Filesystem/Share permissions: Is there a database, or setting I can remove/flush/kick which will help? Thanks, Jim Processing: /mnt/disk1 ... chown -R nobody:users ... chmod -R go-rwx,u-x,go+u ... find -type d -exec chmod 777 {} \; ... sync Processing: /mnt/disk2 ... chown -R nobody:users ... chmod -R go-rwx,u-x,go+u ... find -type d -exec chmod 777 {} \; ... sync
Luke 42077 Posted August 9, 2025 Posted August 9, 2025 Hi @03mini@gmail.comcan you please describe your issue in more detail? Thanks !
03mini@gmail.com 1 Posted August 10, 2025 Author Posted August 10, 2025 When adding new media, it doesn't show up automatically like it did before and doing a manual library scan and refresh of metadata doesn't update it either. Puzzling.
brothom 177 Posted August 11, 2025 Posted August 11, 2025 @03mini@gmail.comit sounds like the drive/mount isn't accessible (anymore). Are there any other media items that you cán find in Emby that are also on this mount? What you can also do is open the Metadata Manager and go to your library and open "Folders" to see if content from the drive is detected at all.
