importing metadata

is there a way to import old metadata?
I've just updated from Monterey to Sequoia and rather than the wait and search for whats missing ...

Are you using Backup & Restore plugin/do you have manual backup?

Are you saving NFOs/artwork with media?

not using backup/restore plug.
manual hard back-up.
dunno what an NFO is.
The artwork I have been using identify with whatever is missing. Then inputting the IMDB info and search.
There have been a bunch hat I have manually search for and found art.
This is for TV and films.

Is you artwork saved next to media/in media folders on only in server metadata folder? That is a library option:

the old server install meta was saved to the server, not the media files in folders.

I don't see that option on my server settings in Library, but that is what I toggled on previously.

this is what exists from the previous install.  I would say 85% or so of the metadata has been found by Emby.  The missing bits seem to be pictures for film & TV "extras".

It be nice to place the rest if there is a way.

OK so everything is being rescanned fresh. What is missing?

missing are pictures that I married to extras, behind the scenes, interviews and like that. No big.

But the setting that Grim points to, I know I saw it, but I don't see it now in Library settings.

Not that it matters much, pretty sure mine was set to metadata folder on server.

If you click on a library to open up the options, it underneath the image fetcher settings.
