[Android] A option of preventing playing on external displays

I recently bought an XREAL Beam Pro to watch videos with my AR glasses. When connected, the glass device acts like an external monitor. I can open and use apps solely within my view in the glasses; for example, I can open Microsoft Edge and browse the web into the glass.

However, as we all know, when I use the Emby Android App to play video, it will auto display content on the external monitor while blacking out the phone screen.

This means that when I open Emby in the glasses and start playing a video, it doesn't behave like a normal app. Instead, because the glasses are treated as an external display, the video playback completely takes over my entire field of view.

To put it another way, it's like I could originally use apps within my glasses, similar to an Apple Vision Pro. However, Emby forces video playback onto an external display, which causes the video content to completely take over my entire field of view (because Emby plays it in full screen on the external display). I can't access any of the playback controls, so I'm unable to pause or do anything else.

Yes the same unfortunately, after asking AI as VLC does much the same, it suggested using VLCs clone mode, so I was wondering:

1) If Emby could offer a similar mode?

2) If not could Emby let you specify another player, so you could use VLC to overcome the limitation?
