Samsung TV app broken thumbnail images

I have an emby server on my desktop pc and one on my synology nas. I recently added a new hdd to the nas and moved some folders and files around. Now the emby app on my samsung tv will not display the thumbnails for some of the files. But if I click on the file the image is displayed in the background. Is there a way to refresh the thumbnail images? I have looked around in the options menu and can't find anything. All of the images are jpegs stored on the hdd with the video files. I thought that maybe if I deleted the image from the samsung emby app options menu I could add it again but it removed the jpeg from the hdd all together. Is there no way to refresh the cache or images on the samsung app?

I also have both servers linked on my nvidia shield and the images display properly on it, no broken thumbnails so the issue must be with the samsung app.

TIA

Sorry but I'm not sure I understand what you mean. Web app? Compare to what?

How do the same screens look in the Emby web app on your server?

They work fine, only the samsung tv app has the issue. I think I might remove and delete the app from the tv, then reinstall and see if that works.

OK please let us know how that goes. Thanks.

I deleted the app on the tv and did a cache and memory wipe. Had a bit of a time getting things set up again as samsung is having server issues. I finally got emby set up and the issue remains though. The uninstall was a waste of time and did absolutely nothing. Looks like I will have the tedious and boring task of going through the folders and manually deleting the broken files and uploading new images. I have no idea what caused this but I hope it doesn't happen again.

I'm sorry, this morning reviewed the web ui and he problem started to happen on it too. Reviewing the logs I could see a dns issue on the server. I'm sorry for that
