Ya puse servidor Manual y así si me dejó ya que la dirección cambió y en Google no me detecta la nueva what do you mean exactly by "google does not detect the new one" ? Are you referring to the WAN / Public IP address of your emby server / ISP connection ? How does google come into it ? In the screenshots you attached earlier, you mentioned public IP Address ending with .210 and .240 - is emby server not detecting the correct Public IP Address ? You can view that in View Server Info on the Emby Server settings dashboard when you are connected locally Do you have automatic port mapping enabled in server network settings ? and is there only one emby server on the network ? you can enable emby server debug logging, restart the emby server and when you fail to connect to it remotely, capture the logs - as IP Addresses are relevant, it is best to provide raw logs and not santicized ones - so you can copy out the logs folder and zip the copy and send me the zip by private message you can also give me your exact public IP Address in the message and tell me if that IP Address shows in the router status page as the WAN Address and if it is the same as the address that gets displayed when you open a browser on the server and go to canyouseeme.org See https://emby.media/support/articles/Log-Files.html If you are not using secure connections (https) - you would need to open up http://app.emby.media rather than https://app.emby.media for signing in with emby connect

If you are not using the Emby Server beta release, you may find it has better handling for changes to WAN IP Address I will repeat again - to troubleshoot I need diagnostics and not just statements that it is not working. Please read my earlier reply
VIDEOCLUBPlay 0 Posted August 14, 2025 Author Posted August 14, 2025 In fact, the language is not the problem. I understand what you write. What I don't understand is DNS, etc. It is very complicated, Emby, with all due respect, compared to Plex.
VIDEOCLUBPlay 0 Posted August 14, 2025 Author Posted August 14, 2025 The problem is the remote WAN, when the Emby server presents a new remote WAN it takes more than 8 hours to update in Emby Connect, this generates a conflict when connecting from outside, since they are different addresses

Comparing 4.8.11.0 with 4.9.1.18 This is from one of my beta servers. If the Emby Server detects that the WAN IP has changed then it would try to notify Emby Connect 2025-08-14 17:32:48.605 Debug NetworkManager: Remote address has changed to xx.xxx.xxx.xxx 2025-08-14 17:32:48.605 Info HttpClient: POST https://connect.emby.media/service/Servers?id=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and again - providing the diagnostics I suggested would help establish the factors and what Emby Server did and what it did not and if it detected the change or not On my servers I have automatic port mapping enabled and I do not know if that plays a factor in the detection of the change

My understanding is that your ISP provided WAN/Public IP Address is changing sometimes and that is not being reflected in the Emby Connect server info Edited August 14, 2025 by sa2000
Neminem 1518 Posted August 14, 2025 Posted August 14, 2025 @VIDEOCLUBPlayget a static Ip from you ISP, and all this should be over . Some ISP don't supply that, change to 1 that does. IT'S not a Emby problem your ISP S"#¤ B&/%.
sa2000 674 Posted August 14, 2025 Posted August 14, 2025 In the UK I pay GBP 5 a month to the ISP for a static Public IP instead of their CGNAT one
VIDEOCLUBPlay 0 Posted August 14, 2025 Author Posted August 14, 2025 To get emby beta 4.9 do I have to register?
pwhodges 2012 Posted August 14, 2025 Posted August 14, 2025 (edited) No - just download and install it. Note that it will update your database so you can't go back to 4.8 unless you made a full backup (of Emby, not the media). The download is here (scroll down to find the assets, then scroll through them to find the one for your system); just stop Emby, unzip the download, and overwrite your Emby "system" directory with the new one - the updates happen silently when you restart. sa2000 674 Posted August 14, 2025 Posted August 14, 2025 Note that the beta will only help if Emby Server detects the change in public IP Address.
VIDEOCLUBPlay 0 Posted August 16, 2025 Author Posted August 16, 2025 It can't be now with the beta server update, the IP is not updated, usually we make the change in 10 hours, but it's been 12 hours and I can't connect through Emby Connect because the WAN is not updated.
