ianmcleish 4 Posted July 31, 2025 Posted July 31, 2025 Hi, I have a single issue, I have the office (us) downloaded by Sonarr. Sonarr has it, Emby sees it. It is in a Folder called The Office (US) under data/media/tv - using Trash's folder structure. I recently downloaded The Office (the original one with ricky Gervais as David Brent). Sonarr has 2 seasons, it is in a folder called The Office. Despite multiple, many library scans, Emby will not see this UK version. Should I just add the folder into the library? Currently I have /media/recordings/tv and media/tv Should I add /media/tv/The Office ?? Would that work? This is the first issue I have had with Emby not finding media and I'm sure it is cos the US Office will dominate all findings about that title, but is there any other way to force Emby to find it? Thanks, Ian
Neminem 1518 Posted July 31, 2025 Posted July 31, 2025 If you search on thetvdb.com what do you see as the first show ? Search - TheTVDB.com If you name you folders with year also it will help, but in some strange case use this awsome tv show (2016) [TvdbId=xxxxxxx] In Sonarr use the this series folder format. {Series TitleYear} [TvdbId={TvdbId}]
ianmcleish 4 Posted July 31, 2025 Author Posted July 31, 2025 Many thanks for the reply, I went through the share and deleted all .nfo files in the Office uk folder and that seemed to do it- it picked up the us office information. Unfortunately I also was going to add the office folder to the library, specifically the one for the uk, but I stopped at /media/tv I then had 2 entries for media/tv. I deleted one, emby deleted both. So now I have no library for tv at all. I added the/media/tv back in and it is doing a scan, but it did find both office programmes I think.
