When Emby can't figure out an identification, it seems to fail to "The Armless Swordsman" and I now have 618 of them. I'd like to bulk remove the identification while I go through and clean up the directory naming to fix things.

sqlite> select count(*) from mediaitems where name like '%armless%';
618

Hi, you could try right clicking and then select remove identification

600 times? I know I can do that, but that's a royal pain. I would like to, for example, shift click to select a large group and *than* do the right click/remove.

How are your files named and organized?

That isn't the issue - I know they're not exactly the way emby wants, but it will take a while to fix a thousand directories so I want to get emby to stop misidentifying the ones it gets confused about and falls back on some default

Have you tried using the multi-select tool?

It took me a bit to notice the hazy circles, but that's exactly what I wanted, thanks.

filebot and files2folder can resolve it pretty quickly.

Wow. Thankfully I'm not the only one seeing this. I have a bunch of DVD Extras' videos and it did all of them the same way. Everything was the Armless Swordsman.

Is there some location where we can blacklist that IMDB entry? 😄

HI, what do you mean by blacklist?

A database change the could ignore any IMDB entry number, and would never assign it to anything.
