MB Classic Sort Order changing when navigating backward

Strange symptom lately. MB3 server latest version with MB3 classic. When watching a TV show, and then backing out from episode level to the list of TV shows, the sort order goes all out of whack. No determinable order to it at all (and none of the view options have been changed). If you back out one level further (to the initial MB3 classic folder level) and then re-enter the TV Shows, the the sort order goes back to normal. Happening regularly now. Was like this on the previous version of server and client too.

 

Any ideas as to where to even start?

Cool. I'll get that detail. I have a suspicion (though yet to be proven) that it has something to do with scheduled scan running in the background while watching a show. Symptom only seems to have started since I reenabled that scheduled task.
