Emby opens a blank page if it was closed suddenly

Emby, on browser in Andriod TV, opens a blank page, as shown attached, if last time it was closed suddenly in the middle of playing a large playlist.

It can happen a lot that I turn off the TV while Emby is playing a large playlist, and for me every time I turn on the TV afterward, I have to move the cursor and click on the back button to have access to the menus, folders and playlists again.

Is it possible to add an option so that you can choose in between continuing the last session, or start at the Emby home screen whenever Emby app starts?

Emby server: 4.8.11.0

Emby app: Emby Web 4.8.11.0 (On "Web Browser By Vewd" on Sony TV Bravia 8 - Android TV)

log is attached.

Hi, why use the web app instead of the Emby android app?

I don't have Emby Premium and it's fine for me to use it on the web. One tab for Emby and the other tabs for other pages.

OK when you close the web app in the middle of playback and then re-open, it does not currently restore what you were previously playing. This is something we'd like to add in future updates.

Workaround for now would be to stop playback before turning off the TV.

Good to hear that. However, I'd like to be redirected to the Emby main menu (home screen) when I turn on the TV and open the browser.

What currently happens is that Emby tries to continue the previous session and fails to play the playlist.

I prefer if I get redirected to the Emby home screen rather than seeing that blank page, or even continue playing that playlist.

There's no way for the web app to know that you just turned on the TV. You could probably also do something with a bookmark and/or setting the browser's startup url.
