When will the Synology package be updated to 4.8.11.0?

I'm still using Version 4.8.8.0 from the Synology package installation. When will it be updated to the latest version? I see a notification on my Emby dashboard to update it, but I need to wait for the package to be updated before I can do so. Is that right?

You can get it from the website/GitHub if you don't want to wait for Synology to review it.  That can take a while sometimes.

we have submitted it to them so we are just waiting for it to get through Synology review.

I thought about that, but the idea of moving my setup to a docker container sounds daunting. Plus, my docker containers don't tend to be as stable as Synology packages, so I've been hesitant to undertake the switch.

It should just upgrade your current install.

• Shutdown Emby server
• Download spk
• Click "Manual Install" from Package Center and open the spk file.

Not sure what's taking Synology so long to review.  Release came out in March
