Furmantation 6 Posted July 28, 2025 Posted July 28, 2025 Recently, guide data for several channels is offset by 1 or 2 hours. Two of my regular channels I have identified are 7.5 and 10.4, both over the air in Phoenix, Arizona, off by one hour and 2 hours, respectively. Emby is running on OS X. Tuner is an external Flex 4k. I have confirmed clock is set correctly. I have refreshed guide data (no change) and also deleted and re-added the guide source (no change). What actions can I take or information can I provide to help troubleshoot further? Thanks!
Luke 42077 Posted July 28, 2025 Posted July 28, 2025 Can you try refreshing the guide data and see if it's still an issue?
Furmantation 6 Posted July 28, 2025 Author Posted July 28, 2025 Sure thing. Just refreshed again and still incorrect.

Furmantation 6 Posted July 29, 2025 Author Posted July 29, 2025 Hello - Thank you for your help @sa2000! The identifier is USA-OTA85260. The timezone you list is almost correct, most of Arizona is on MST and does not follow daylight saving time (there is a small portion of Arizona that does in the Navajo nation and it is currently on MDT). For 7.5, I show that Becker episode airing at 15:30 local time according to https://cw7az.com/schedule/ and it shows in the guide as airing at 16:30. For 10.4, I see that episode airing at 19:30 according to https://www.ontvtonight.com/guide/listings/PhoenixNight.html and it shows in the guide as airing at 16:30. 1
sa2000 673 Posted July 30, 2025 Posted July 30, 2025 Thank You This has been submitted to Gracenote with the following as examples for Phoenix Arizona with USA-OTA85260 being one of the affected lineups channel 7.5 REWIND KAZTCD5 series title: "Becker" episode title: "Santa on Ice" in guide for 31 July as 16:30 local time - should be 15:30 channel 10.4 ROARTV KSAZDT3 series title: "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" episode title: "Ross Mathews" in guide for 31 July as 16:30 local time - should be 19:30

Furmantation 6 Posted August 7, 2025 Author Posted August 7, 2025 Thank you! Any word on when 10.4 will also receive the correction?

Yes i am asking for update regularly and each time they apologize for the delay and say their team is working on it. Last no progress update was on September 11th

sa2000 673 Posted September 24, 2025 Posted September 24, 2025 (edited) Gracenote have given up on the channel - they have closed it with the note: Quote Unfortunately, we have not received any schedule updates from the channel, and they have been unresponsive. Most recent directions are to log this with a 3 hour offset. I will try with them again. I have set my PC to UTC-7 timezone and with a US vpn IP address, I have accessed https://watchroar.com/schedule/ They show their schedule in "Eastern Pacific" timezone. eg today it shows Are these times correct for Phoenix Arizona ? I tried web timezone conversion tools and I got same time for Eastern Pacific and Phoenix time. The gracenote schedule shows these 10:30 amd 11:00 am airings as being 07:30 am and 08:00 am phoenix time Update: Ah ... The screen also has MT Timezone - so are the MT times correct for Phoenix for today's channel airings? Edited September 24, 2025 by sa2000
Furmantation 6 Posted September 24, 2025 Author Posted September 24, 2025 Thank you. Apologies, I am just getting to this now. If you'd like to send me a couple for later today or tomorrow, I can check the schedule - but from what I see in the screenshot, I have no idea what Eastern Pacific is!?!? We are currently the same time as Pacific (think California) and 3 hours behind Eastern (think New York). The CT / MT times appear correct as we are 2 hours behind Central time currently. (All of this changes when Daylight Saving Time change occurs. We don't change in Arizona, so at that point we are one hour ahead of Pacific and two hours behind Eastern).

OK just tell me if the MT airing times showing in the schedule for https://watchroar.com/schedule/ are correct for Phoenix Arizona Here are 3 for today MT 20:30 Jeff Davis 10 MT 21:00 Jeff Davis 11 MT 21:30 Charles Esten 4 and for 25 September MT 20:00 Whose Line is it anyway - Jeff Davis 13 MT 20:30 Gary Anthony Williams 7 MT 21:00 Jonathan Magnum 9 If you are on MT time and the airings in the https://watchroar.com/schedule/ for MT match what is being aired then i can give gracenote examples of what is wrong
sa2000 673 Posted September 24, 2025 Posted September 24, 2025 The MT times above may be an hour out When I google "Time in Phoenix AZ now" I get 16:37 When I google "Time in MT timezone now" I get 17:37 So please confirm if the times in the schedule screens above for MT are correct for Phoenix or Phoenix airings being 1 hour earlier
Furmantation 6 Posted September 25, 2025 Author Posted September 25, 2025 There is both MST and MDT. Most of Arizona (including Phoenix) is on MST and does not follow daylight saving time (there is a small portion of Arizona that does Daylight Saving in the Navajo nation and it is currently on MDT). In MST, where I am, the current time is 18:22. MDT is currently at 19:22. I believe those screenshots are correct for the timezone they refer to as Eastern Pacific. I currently have Saturday Night Live with Chris Farley on the TV, which matches the 6PM Eastern Pacific time. 1

sa2000 673 Posted October 5, 2025 Posted October 5, 2025 @Furmantation I had a response from Gracenote - which I think implies they made some changes for 10.4 Let me know if you notice a different in the next few days They still got no answer back from the KSAZDT station. This was the new reply from Gracenote Quote Channel is unresponsive about schedule. Gracenote schedule timing is set. It will reflect to you shortly At this moment, it does not look like it has been corrected. So give it a week and let me know
Furmantation 6 Posted October 9, 2025 Author Posted October 9, 2025 @sa2000Thank you for staying on top of this. As of now, the schedule remains incorrect. I just refreshed last night however, so perhaps the 24 hour Emby cache hasn't yet expired.

Furmantation 6 Posted October 16, 2025 Author Posted October 16, 2025 Quick follow-up to confirm that the guide is still incorrect. Thanks for all of your effort here! 2
