newyorker 11 Posted July 26, 2025 Posted July 26, 2025 (edited) The Specials folder contains mixed content, and the episode number in filenames like "XXX S00E06.mkv" is primarily used for TMDB identification purposes and does not necessarily reflect the actual episode order. so the episode number in filename is not meaningful and shouldn't be displayed. When the TV show display is set to "Always show season folders", this is handled correctly (There is no "S0:En" prefix before the title) However, when the display is set to "Show all episodes for only single season shows", the episode number prefix "S0:En" appears before the title: This is misleading because, in this case, the 7th item in TMDB's Season 0 is actually labeled as Episode 6 in title. There's a one-episode gap between each entry due to the inclusion of other special content in TMDB's Season 0, which affects the episode numbering. I would therefore suggest removing the "S0:En" prefix in the "Show all episodes for only single season shows" mode, to align it with the behavior of the "Always show season folders" setting and avoid confusion.
