Issues with hardware acceleration transcoding

Hi all,

I’m completely stuck on this one. My Emby Server (latest stable on Ubuntu 24.04) will direct-play supported H.264/AAC files just fine, but the moment a transcode is required I get:

Playback Error

No compatible streams are currently available. Please try again later or contact your system administrator for details.

 

—and Emby never even spawns an ffmpeg process.
