JezPS 0 Posted July 25, 2025 Posted July 25, 2025 So as the title suggests I have 3 separate instances of Emby running on 3 different Synology NAS drives all pointing to one library and IPTV library. The reason I did this way was basically because I had the NAS drives laying around doing nothing and while I could run Emby off one and it was perfect for 5 users for locally stored media as soon as I added Live TV to the equation I got a lot of buffering as soon as I got any more than two simultaneous streams. Rather than spend hours tinkering I set the other two instances up and created 3 subdomains using cloudflared. so now I have them over tv.mydomain.com, tv2.mydomain.com and tv3.mydomain.com and have spread my users over those and everyone can stream Live TV with no issues.. However.. I would LOVE to just have this working under one subdomain and have Emby direct each user to it's own Emby instance. I'm still a newbie at all of this and am only just learning about networking now, so would love to hear any tips. I'm sure I'm probably missing something painfully obvious to achieve this goal. Thanks in advance. J
Luke 42077 Posted July 26, 2025 Posted July 26, 2025 HI, where would the decision making be of which one to redirect to?
