PaulW08 2 Posted July 25, 2025 Posted July 25, 2025 (edited) Hi all, I searched the forum and didn't find anything really similar to what I was experience other than issues with Downloads and Collections. I've been a long time user of Emby and Emby Premiere and didn't really start using downloads until I had kids. I'm running into two issues currently. I created a collection for my kids specifically with the purpose of using this collection to manage what gets automatically sent to their tablets. This collection is pushed to two devices running Emby 3.4.74 on android. I have added various media and the initial download worked great for the most part. The issue is when I add new items to said collection, the new items don't automatically download the new content even though I have this option checked in the Downloads manager. This option usually works for individual TV Shows and Folders I have setup, but just wondering if this is a limitation in what I am trying to do. Again the overall idea is I just have one place for content and this is the collection. I add new stuff and the tablet just grabs it when it phones home. Another weird issue is I would download the same collection to two different device, but it reports different item numbers. Emby Server is version 4.8.11.0. Luke 42077 Posted August 7, 2025 Posted August 7, 2025 HI, the server doesn't currently track the date that the item was added to a collection, therefore the new content option is based on when it was added to your library. This would be the date added value in the metadata editor.
