ArdiSpleen 0 Posted July 24, 2025 Posted July 24, 2025 Hey, so I have two collections for Anime. One is called Anime (TV) and the other one Anime (Movies). Every so often (usually after a library scan, I assume) Movies that are supposed to be in the Movies collection keep popping up in the TV collection and are not in the Movies collection anymore. It's driving me nuts. Any particular reason this might be happening?
Luke 42077 Posted July 24, 2025 Posted July 24, 2025 HI there, can you please provide a specific example? How to Report a Problem Thanks !
ArdiSpleen 0 Posted July 24, 2025 Author Posted July 24, 2025 I mean sure. As you can see there's 2 movies in this collection. They do not belong here. They should be in another collection called "Anime (Movies)", yet they randomly were removed from that collection and showed up in this one. This keeps happening with random movies from these two collections. Maybe it's because they are similarly named?
Luke 42077 Posted July 26, 2025 Posted July 26, 2025 @ArdiSpleendo your movie files have .nfo files in the same directory, next to them?

If there is an nfo file for each film and the library is rescanned, Emby will also import the collection from the nfo. In that case you can either manually edit the nfo file and rescan or change your library settings to write nfo files and change theory collection manually fort the last time. Beware that Emby initially imports movie.nfo files, but will prefer reading from and writing to <your_file>.nfo. Edited July 26, 2025 by Killface69
ArdiSpleen 0 Posted August 8, 2025 Author Posted August 8, 2025 @Lukeyes, those particular movies have nfo files next to them

If you can stop that from happening, then this issue should go away.
